♦ BUSINESS FEASIBILITY STUDY

Vaisala can help define the specific need for different forecasting services within a given region. These studies evaluate socioeconomic impact of large infrastructure projects, which improve observational measurements nationwide.  A feasibility study will help customers convince their financiers (for instance, the World Bank, the European Union or other regional development institutes) to invest in a certain project.

♦ TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY STUDY

Vaisala will define the specific equipment, systems and communications required to meet the needs of the customer.  A technical feasibility study specifies the technical design, required training and maintenance activities which are essential for running effective operations and using the right tools for the right needs.

♦ SITE SURVEY

A professional site survey provides a reliable and accurate oberservation system with optimal positioning.  Vaisala has developed precision survey tools and software designed to locate and minimize sources of noise which may interefere with sensor operation, and will account for variations in topography and microclimate environments.  Site surveys are provided for new installation sites or when upgrading existing systems.
